Other catalogues

The collection of the Marine Library can partially or completely be searched via other databases as well.

• The Antilope catalogue contains records of all journals and series present in Belgian scientific libraries, including all journals from the collection of the VLIZ library.
• The FELNET database makes it possible to search the catalogues of all environmental libraries in Flanders; obviously, the marine environmental information originates from the VLIZ collection.
• The IAMSLIC group catalogue offers an international overview of the collections of about all marine libraries.
• The ASFA database is the international reference database on marine and aquatic subjects; all Belgian marine records are entered in this database through the VLIZ Library; this database can be searched online in the Marine Library.
