Our coast... the weather
Two sites provide weather forecasts specifically for the Belgian coast:
- The weather forecast on the site of the Afdeling Kust of the Ministry of Flanders (Dutch only). The forecasts are produced by the Oceanographic Meteorological Station in Zeebrugge, a collaboration between Afdeling Kust and the THV Meteoservices-Soresma. There are separate sections on

Other sites are more general, but include forecasts for the coast, e.g.:
Predictions of significant wave height can be found on the
Afdeling Kust site (in tabular form), or on the site of the
Management Unit of the Mathemathical Model North Sea (MUMM), as a graph.
Meteorological measurements at sea
The Monitoring Network Flemish Banks (Meetnet Vlaamse Banken) was set up for the acquisition of real-time oceanographical and meteorological data along the Belgian coast and on the Belgian continental shelf.

Time is given in Universal Time (UT). This implies a two-hour difference during summer and only one hour during winter. Hence 12:00 UT corresponds to 2:00 pm in summer and to 1:00 pm in winter.
