Did you recently graduate at a Flemish university or technical college (HOBU-type)? Is your thesis on a marine or coastal subject and are you proud on it? Then you should apply for the VLIZ Thesis Awards for Marine Sciences 2011! Subscribing is possible before the 30th of November 2012.

Every year VLIZ awards two prizes to reward Master's theses (University or long-type higher education). Both fundamental and applied research topics in all branches of the marine sciences are taken into account. The prizes, amounting to 500 EUR each, are reserved to young researchers who graduated in a Flemish university or high school in the course of the last two years.

Maybe it is your work that will be selected out of the submissions? And it is you who will receive the Award of 500 EUR on the occasion of the VLIZ Young Marine Scientists' Day 2013 on the 15th of February 2013?
