Description of 5 seaweeds, new for the Belgian flora, collected in May 1982 in the Sluice Dock of Ostend. There are 3 Chlorophyceae: Enteromorpha kylinii, E. ralfsii, Ulva scandinavica, and 2 Phaeophyceae: Ectocarpus confervoides var. confervoides, Punctaria latifolia. The last, rather infrequent species is studied in detail.
