Board of Directors
Pursuant to the Articles of Association the Board of Directors is composed of 14 members.
Chairman of the Board of Directors is Mr Carl Decaluwé, governor of West Flanders.
Eight members were nominated by the Flemish Government:
- Mr Colin Janssen, Ghent University, vice-chairman
- Mr Paul Breyne, Honorary Governor of the Province of West Flanders
- Mr Jean Berlamont, Catholic University of Leuven
- Mr Yves Goossens, DAB Fleet (MDK)
- Ms Ilse Hoet, Department Mobility and Public Works
- Mrs Brenda Utterwulghe, Blauwvoet bvba
- Mr Philip Van Avermaet, Department Economy, Science and Innovation
- Ms Magda Vincx, Ghent University
The two members nominated by the Province of West Flanders are:
- Mr Guido Decorte, Provincial Executive (secretary)
- Ms Hilde Veulemans, Provincial Council
The three other members are:
- Ms Ann Overmeire, POM West-Vlaanderen
- Mr Paul Gerard, AG Haven Oostende
- Mr Willy Versluys, fishing vessel owner
The government commissioners are:
- Mr Luc Gobin, on behalf of the Flemish Minister competent for Finances
- Ms Marie Claire Van de Velde, on behalf of the Flemish Minister competent for Science Policy
