LifeWatch Biodiversity Day 2021: biologging & camera trapping

Join us on Thursday 28 October 2021 for the first LifeWatch Biodiversity Day. A new inspiring annual event on biodiversity, where science meets citizens, policy and industry. In this first edition we kick off with a hot topic: we focus on biologging and camera trapping, technology that changed the world of animal research.

We kick off this first edition with a current theme: biologging and camera trapping, technology that makes the world of animal research sustainable. These new techniques allowing remote measurements of animal behavior from devices carried by the animal or using cameras, have revolutionized the field of biodiversity research.

Half a day program of key-note lectures, insight information and stakeholder interaction will demonstrate the state of the art in this field of study, and get you prepared for an even more challenging future.

Take a look at the LifeWatch website for the preliminary program and keep an eye on your inbox for news and updates.

Subscription is free but mandatory by 20 October 2021. Register here online. Please note that the number of participants is limited. Subscription on a first-come first-served basis.
