Expert Groups

Expert Groups are thematic working groups established by the Board of Directors for a limited or longer period of time. Expert Groups are composed of the most relevant experts from Belgium and abroad.

Expert Groups may be established as part of the Scientific Committee at the invitation of the Board of Directors or at the suggestion of the Scientific Board. These thematic working groups are composed of the most relevant experts from Belgium and abroad. An Expert Group can have a limited life span or have a more permanent character. An expert panel’s chairman has to report directly to the Scientific Board. A VLIZ employee provides support as secretary-rapporteur.
