Description:
    The 2nd annual Arctic Frontiers conference will take place in Tromsø, Norway, 20-25 January 2008. It is dedicated to the associations between Arctic oil and gas activities and environmental challenges, society and indigenous peoples. In addition, impact of climate changes on permafrost will be reviewed. More than 500 stakeholders from 21 nations attended the 1st Arctic Frontiers conference in 2007, and over 1000 additional participants from 27 nations followed the conference through a live internet broadcast.
