Short-term changes in sedimentation were studied, on a timescale of 1 half-diel tide cycle to 1 year. Field measurements were conducted, which were also used for the calibration and validation of numerical models. more

This database contains:
  • field measurements on the factors controlling spatial and temporal variations in sedimentation rates. Also spatial and temporal variations in sedimentation patterns predicted by a topography-based model can be found in this database.
  • data on hydrodynamics and suspended sediment transport and deposition during single tidal cycles within a small tidal marsh creek catchment, measured in the field an predicted by a model
