The weight of the caught shrimp is recorded, as well as the amount of other fish caught in the trawling-net. Undersized fish was not counted and immediately released into the sea. Next to catches, there is also a mentioning of the moment of low tide and the water level at the present low tide. This information was extracted from available tide-tables. Starting from april 1984, the hand trawler also reports on the wind-force and –direction and also the number of trawls that has been made per trawling event. This dataset also contains limited information on the catching of crabs (from November 2002 until June 2004).
