Availability: Unknown
The correct value is not known to and not computable by the creator of this information. However a correct value probably exists

Description
Dataset including physical, chemical and biological variables for the entire Black Sea basin. more

Black Sea inter-disciplinary multivariable historical database was first created in the framework of the NATO SfS TU-Black Sea project in 1994-1997 and was further maintained in the framework of the NATO SfP ODBMS Black Sea Project. It includes all main physical, chemical and biological variables for the entire Black Sea basin and serves as a base line for contemporary and future research activities and management purposes in the region. More information on the initial database can be found here. The DBMS was drastically updated within the NATO Science for Peace ODBMS Black Sea project in 1999-2002 including also creation of the Internet version of the database (http://sfp1.ims.metu.edu.tr/). The initial database released after NATO TU Black Sea and NATO SfP ODBMS Black Sea Projects, was extended within the NATO Linkage Grant #980494 in 2004-2005 with 812 datasets and includes the quality controlled data for 148 variables from 1,117 data sets, including 14,147,397 data values for 74,532 oceanographic stations. The created third version of the Black Sea Database includes: • Main ODBMS database • Data of recent R/V "Akvanavt" expeditions (2001-2002 years) • The last R/V “Knor” Black Sea cruises (April - May, 2003) • Medar/Medatlas-II project database (Black Sea data for 1890 – 1998, that were not included in the ODBMS database) This version of the Database was released on CD ROM in May 2005. At the moment using of this CD ROM is restricted to the ODBMS Project participants only. The IBSS data included in this version of the database are near the same as were included in the first version. Only one data set with biological data was added (Cape Lukul, coastal expedition, August 1992) and 13 data sets with chemical and physical data.
