Survey on gastropods in the Patagonian coasts from June 2006 to April 2008. more

The study was carried out in the Patagonian coasts from San Antonio's Port (40º S) to Ushuaia (54ºS). Samples were taken in 37 places, port and low marine traffic areas, from June 2006 to April 2008.Sample sediments were taken to analyze the TBT concentrations (by GC-MS) and to perform a sedimentographic analysis. A total of 1753 gastropods of 10 different species belonging to 5 families (Volutidae, Nassariidae; Buccinidae, Muricidae and Marginellidae) were captured.
