An annotated check-list is given of Gastropoda species occurring deeper than 2000 m in the seas bordering Europe. more

The check-list is based on published data. The checklist includes 221 species. For each species data on localities in European seas and general species distribution are provided. Station data are presented separately in the present thematic issue.
