Description
The zooplankton abundance (ind/m3) and species occurrence at Päiväluoto monitoring station (60`15'18.9972'' N, 21` 57'3.744'' E') is measured using a plankton net (150 um, mouth opening 70 cm) every month from 1967 till 1985. From from 1990 onwards, the plankton net has a smaller opening size (150 um, mouth opening 35 cm), at 0 to 25 m depth. From 2015 onwards, the zooplankton is also measured using a closing plankton net (150 um, mouth opening 30 cm) every month, from 20 to 40 m depth.
