| Abstract: |
The intermunicipal association WVI works in order of 54 municipalities and the province of West-Flanders. WVI is active in four fields : development of business parks and housing projects, development of studies and advice concerning spatial planning & mobility and environment & nature.
The department Environment and Nature in wvi supports the municipalities with policy preparing and policy executing studies. In the field of Environment wvi supports the muncipalities with the application of legislation, the execution of the cooperation agreement between municipalities and the Flemish government and the planning concerning integrated water management. In the field of Nature wvi develops monitoring projects, regional strategies and concepts for nature restoration and management. |
