Abstract:
The precise goal of this one-year course is to contribute to the education of students in the domain of aquaculture and in the management of living aquatic resources. During this course, taking into account the target group, which is essentially constituted of citizens from developing countries (D.E.), emphasis will be put on fish and crustacean species having a local or world-wide economic interest as well as on culture techniques appropriate to D.C.

The theoretical and practical training will cover the whole of the aspects of catched fish stock management: starting from comprehension and control of the biological cycle of freshwater and seawater fish species in moderate and tropical climates (carp, trout, tilapia, catfish, sea bass, seabream, ...) to the technical-economical aspects of aquatic production, passing by zootechnics and pathology.
