The Laboratory of Ecology & Protection of Environment, School of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - Greece was founded in 1981. The Laboratory is situated into the main building of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on the campus of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and consists of two laboratories for chemical analyses and one of experimental aquariums, staff and postgraduate students offices and a library.
Educational and research activities are developed in the fields of water pollution (sea, lakes, rivers), pollution of aquatic organisms, environmental toxicology, evaluation and management of wetlands, eutrophication, animal wastes management and the impact of environment on farm animals. |
