Abstract
The project is targeted at users of marine biological and oceanographic data, related products and information. This includes a.o. oil and gas industries, port and harbour authorities, shipping industry, commercial fisheries, mariculture industry, tourism and recreation industry, coastal zone managers, environmental consultancies, and the marine scientific community. Safety at sea will be increased by having access to the results of a high resolution model to forecast sea currents and waves. Direct beneficiaries are marine scientists in Ukraine and other Black Sea countries. Local scientists will have the mechanism to share research findings, networks and methodologies with the global scientific community and this global scientific community will benefit from the access to the huge amount of data collected by Ukrainian scientists during many years.
