Abstract
The aims of the project can be summarized as follows:

  1. To develop combined tourism strategies and policies that permit the development of the navigation as tourism product in conformity with the criterion of environmental sustainability.
  2. To promote the rise in value of the overexploited tourism areas turning them into quality areas.
  3. To encourage active tourism as an out-of-season practice.
  4. To establish a methodology of implementation and development of nautical resorts, based on quality and environmental standards, and training the agents in the tourism sector.
  5. To develop innovative actions in order to promote the nautical business development.
  6. To experience, disseminate and join the regional managements in quality terms under a unique umbrella covering all the nautical resorts in the Mediterranean.
  7. To improve the competitiveness of tourism destinations.
