| Abstract |
The aims of the project can be summarized as follows:
- To develop combined tourism strategies and policies that permit the development of the navigation as tourism product in conformity with the criterion of environmental sustainability.
- To promote the rise in value of the overexploited tourism areas turning them into quality areas.
- To encourage active tourism as an out-of-season practice.
- To establish a methodology of implementation and development of nautical resorts, based on quality and environmental standards, and training the agents in the tourism sector.
- To develop innovative actions in order to promote the nautical business development.
- To experience, disseminate and join the regional managements in quality terms under a unique umbrella covering all the nautical resorts in the Mediterranean.
- To improve the competitiveness of tourism destinations.
