Background information :
The project is the basis for institutional strengthening of the knowledge of ecological aspects in river management projects in Romania. It consists of the development of a handbook and the organisation of training workshops for the personnel of the Romanian Ministry of Transport, Constructions and Tourism (MTCT). The objective is to transfer knowledge of ecological aspects in river management projects. In this way the project will support the programming of sustainable projects in the fields of both transportation and environmental policy in Romania.
