Abstract
Hydraulic parameters from the most important sediments in the Flemish coastal plain are derived. Special attention is paid to compaction properties of the sediments, especially in the case of peat layers, and to the distribution of water quality. This will be conducted by means of compaction tests in the laboratory, pumping tests, tracer tests, pushpull tests, C14 measurements and ground watere flow models.
