Abstract
The DGGE technique will be developed into a cost-effective tool for the analysis of the mixed status of samples of Brachionus resting eggs and Artemia cysts. Assessment of the mixed status of these samples and batches has immediate relevance for their larviculture applications, but also for basic studies of ecology, population dynamics and genetics.
