Abstract
During IODP expedition leg 307 in the Porcupine Seabight (Southwest of Ireland) a cold-water coral mound was drilled to its base. The core revealed the fantastic cyclic internal structure of this mound. The purpose of this study is to find out which parameters steer this cycles using Nd-isotopic studies, U-Th dating and seismic profiles.
