Abstract
The aim of this project is to bring together expertise relevant to develop novel technologies and applications of microalgae. The project aims on the one hand on developing new, cost-efficient technologies for downstream processing of algal biomass (harvesting, cell disruption and extraction). On the other, we aim at developing new, high-value applications of algae as pharmaceuticals and neutraceuticals.
