Abstract
The aim of this project is to evaluate the potential of algae to treat wastewater from agricultural waste streams such as animal manure, biogas effluent of wastewater from food processing. In this project, the technologies available for this process are inventorised and a technological and economical feasibility study is made. The focus of KULeuven in this project was on harvesting of microalgae.
