Abstract
The project gives a contribution to the development of a better seismic stratigraphic conceptual model for glaciated continental margins (in casu Gebra Valley, Bransfield Basin & The Crazy trough month fan in the Weddell Sea) with specific emphasis on processes associated with slope instabilities and their controlling mechanisms subsidence rate rostatic rebound, sedimentloading, over- and undercompaction.
