Abstract
In the forward reportage an overview is being given of three ecosystem models used in the Delft Hydraulics, and the Institute for Forestry and Nature Research in Texel, in favour of research on effects of eutrofying on the ecosystem of the North Sea and/or the Wadden Sea. The treated models are Delwaq-Ecolumn-Bloom II (DEB), Delwaq-Bloom II-Switch (DWB) and EcoWasp. In this report is noted which parts of the ecosystem is described by each of the models and what the availability and the management of these models. All three models have been applied in the Dutch coastal waters.
