Abstract
This report describes the development of procedures to nest the two- and three-dimensional numerical models that were used to simulate flow conditions at the storm-surge barrier in the Eastern Scheldt of the Netherlands when the barrier had been only partially constructed. All experiments were made with a modeling system specially designed for hydraulic engineers.
