Abstract
Explores in photographs and text the landscape and wildlife of two of the Earth's great wildernesses. In the first part the side-by-side photographs highlight the contrasts between North and South. The photo essays of part two continue the comparisons, covering such topics as the polar bears, penguins, and visits to the poles. Lastly, in the final part, detailed information on the story behind each photograph is given.
