Abstract
The report summarises the presentations held at the International Symposium on Climate Change in the area of Climate Change and its Impacts, Ozone Depletion, Observations and Natural Hazards. It provides a consolidated overview of latest European research achievements in the areas specified and highlights outstanding research questions. The relationship between Climate Change and Natural Hazards are of particular interest and are addressed in detail. Finally, future research needs have been discussed and the conclusions of thesymposium have been included in the report. The Symposium report is, for the European Commission, one of the strategic documents which contribute to the development of the 7th Framework Programme in the area of Climate Change and Natural Hazards research.
