Abstract
The aim of this work was to determine the effects of trawler fishing stress in some blood chemistry and hematological parameters using flatfishes of the genusParalichthys. These parameters were monitoring at two hours (Group A= tsub(0)), two days (Group A= t sub(1)) and 52 days after fishing (Group B=control). The results shows that hematological parameters have a significantdifferences at t sub(0) and t sub(1) (two hours and two days after fishing) (p<0,05). Blood chemical parameters (total proteins plasmatic concentration andalbumin plasmatic concentration), have not significant differences between t sub(0)and t sub(1) but these two groups are different with control group (p<0,05).Plasmatic glucose concentration was the most important blood chemicalparameters difference between groups. This parameter showed a high plasmaticconcentration at t sub(0) with a significant decreasing at t sub(1) and t sub(2)become the plasmatic concentration constant these times. The differences inhematological parameters are discussed about water oxygen concentration. Finally, plasmatic glucose concentration differences suggest a regulation by cortisollike hormone in these fishes.
