Abstract
The object of this paper takes into consideration the extension of using the marine originating natural resources in obtaining pharmaceutical products. A liver extract from the Black Sea common stingray Trygon pastinaca has been obtained. The physico-chemical analysis and the content of biologically active substances have proved that product can be used in dermatology and cosmetics. The said extract includes: liposoluble vitamins (A vitamin - 9267 IU, D vitamin - 200881 IU, E vitamin - 150054 IU), free saturated (palmitic and stearic) and unsaturated (oleic and linoleic) fatty acids - 0,004 g, triglycerides - 0,132 g, free and esterified cholesterol - 0,019 and 0,038g respectively mineral phosphorus - 0,001 g.
