Abstract
    The results of multi-years study of the Far Eastern redfin morphology and biology in Primorye are presented. Two species of Tribolodon genus are described: the small-scale T. brandti (Dybowskii) and the large-scale T. hakonensis (Gunther). The biology of the sea and freshwater life periods of both redfin species, their spawning ecology and behaviour are considered. Redfin stock state is estimated by the data of trawl surveys in Peter the Great Bay. In freshwater period, the estimations of redfin stock state have been conducted by using the catches per effort (stationary, poundnets, drop net) separately for prespawning, spawning and wintering stocks.
