Abstract
Three loose uppervalves of Chama aspersa Reeve, 1846 have recently been found on three different beaches along the Mediterranean coast of lsrael. They form an indication that most probably a second Chama-species of lndo-Pacific origin managed to enter the Eastern Mediterranean by means of the Suez Canal.
