Abstract
Twenty-six species of Bryozoa, in the ascophoran cheilostome family Smittinidae Levinsen, 1909, are described from Antarctic and sub-Antarctic localities. Fourteen species are considered to be new to science. Aspericreta gen. nov. is introduced for Smittina crassatina Waters, 1904, and Platychelyna gen. nov. for Cellarinella planulata Hayward, 1980.
