Abstract
    Small pond southward from the village Rubinovka was studied. Cyclopoid copepoda Tropocyclops prasinus was found that had been discovered before only once in the reservoirs of the Primorye Region by V.M.Rylov in 1927. Brief characteristic of reservoir and its plankton community is given. In the period of investigation the Tropocyclops prasinus was dominant species in the pond. Tropocyclops prasinus had 55 % of the total biomass of zooplankton (1,5 g/m3) and 91 % of total number.
