Abstract
A phenological inversion in T. testudinum was indicated by the presence of early fruit stage in midwinter. Further observations in Jan 1979 detected early reproductive bud presence, and 44% of the short-shoots examined were reproductive. These observations add new information to this species' reproductive biology and indicate that caution should be applied when describing T. testudinum as a short-, intermediate- or long-day plant.
