Abstract
Range extensions are given for Mycteroperca tigris, Epinephelus inermis, Heamanthias leptus and Anthias tenuis in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. The colour pattern of H. leptus is also briefly described, and the possibility of it being an expression of sexual dichromatism is noted.
