Abstract
The linear growth rates of male and female dab (Limanda limanda ) from 8 North Sea areas were determined. Regional differences were analyzed with regard to temperature, salinity, depth, population density and food availability. Comparisons with earlier studies showed that the growth of the dab has improved.
