Abstract
    During an investigation of the soft-bottom fauna of the estuarine area of the rivers Rhine, Meuse and Scheldt data on the distribution and ecology of Cumopsis goodsirii, Bodotria scorpioides, Iphinoe trispinosa, Lamprops fasciata, Pseudocuma longicornis, P. similis, Diastylis rathkei and D. bradyi (Crustaceae: Cumacea) were obtained. These data have been correlated with salinity, sediment structure and other environmental variables and have been compared with the literature data.
