Abstract
Concentrations of toxaphene were determined in fish from the Netherlands and adjacent marine areas by GC/NCI-MS after thorough clean-up. Levels of toxaphene lay between 0.1 and 7 mg/kg on lipid basis. Toxaphene components showing different environmental behavior are distinguished.
