Abstract
By means of culture, the productivity of a number of coastal water flagellates was studied in terms of growth rate and photosynthesis under different conditions of temp, salinity, and right. The distribution of the spp employed is reported. For 6 stations in the polluted Oslofjord, the general occurrence of nanoplankton flagellates was recorded. Observations on the oceanic occurrence of Micromonas pusilla are summarized.
