Abstract
    The aim of this communication is to present energetic experimental studies on a pilot pond. Many measurements run were carried out in winter time to determine the thermal losses of an aquacultural pond, recovered or not. Parallel to this experimental operation, a software programme, aimed at the simulation of the thermal behaviour of parallelepipedic ponds, was developed. These studies have shown the preponderance of evaporative losses and the interest of a thermal protection. Besides, the selected modelisation has permitted a fine representation of the thermal behaviour of an aquacultural pool.
