Abstract
On the basis of daily individual weight increments, the simple computer model is able to simulate growth of carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) stock in ponds. The growth rate is influenced by: actual individual weight of carp, water temperature, amount of natural food, quantity and quality of supplemental food. On the contrary, the carp stock influences quantity and sire structure of food organisms and same other parameters of water quality. Completing this model with the addition of predatory (Silurus glanis L.), herbivorous (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix Val.) and coarsefishes is considered as well. Insufficient data are available on experimenlal figures covering the growth rate of other fish species in ponds.
