Abstract
    Many chemical constituents are measured in investigations of chemical reactions in marine systems. In this paper the fluxes of sulphide and carbonate are considered in anoxic sea water. The deviation from simple stoichiometric relations is shown and explanations are suggested. Two unusual compounds were measured.
