Abstract
    Five new species of Tricominae (Desmoscolecida) from the N.E. of the Moçambique Channel are described: Antarcticonema inaequalis, Tricoma curvespiculata, T. bullapophysa, T. gloriosa and Desmotricoma spinicauda. Desmotricoma gen.n. is mainly characterized by the ornamentation of the body-cuticle i.e. provided with prominent protruding concretion masses around long spines and dispersed over the whole body in a more or less regular way.
