Abstract
This CD-ROM contains documentation relating to the Coastal Zone Inquiry which was held by the federally-funded Resource Assessment Commission (RAC) over a two year period 1992-93. The RAC was directed to conduct an inquiry into Australia's coastal zone, particularly on ways of achieving integrated management of the zone. The reference was in response to growing public concern about the future of the resources of the zone. The Inquiry was the most comprehensive investigation undertaken into the management of the coastal zone and its conclusions and recommendations are important to all Australians. The cd-rom contains: reports on the coastal zone inquiry, information papers on coastal zone resource management, several case studies (Australia) and consultants' reports.
