Abstract
    The species Svantovites lethiersi n. sp. is described in detail. This speciesgives its name to a new zone of the upper part of the Frasnian andlowermost Famennian — Eoparaphorhynchus triaequalis triaequalis Zone— of the Namur and Dinant Basins. The Favulella lecomptei Sub-zone iselevated to full zonal status.
