Abstract
The intracapsular ingurgitation stage of Nucella lapillus has an active palliovisceral-complex (with the storage of food-eggs) and an active cephalopodium. The functions of the vacuolated integumental cells and of the larval kidneys are, basing on results with electromicroscopical methods, described in detail.
