Abstract
On Karkinorhynchus tetragnathus nov. spec., a Schizorhynchia with bifurcated proboscis hooks (Turbellaria, Kalyptorhynchia). Karkinorhynchus tetragnathus is characterized by complicated hooks of the proboscis. Either of them consists of two single pieces which may be moved independently of another. Further specific marks are a short stylet in a long male copulatory organ and a vagina dividing in two fine canals. K. megalopharynx and K. tetragnathus are interpreted to be sister species in the subgenus Karkinorhynchides.
